Homeopathic Treatment for Bells-Palsy and Its Homeopathy Medicine

## Bell’s Palsy (Facial Paralysis) | Homoeopathic Consultants, Karachi

Bell’s palsy is a common condition that causes sudden weakness or paralysis of the muscles on one side of the face. Symptoms may range from mild facial droop to complete loss of movement. In many cases, it is self-resolving and improves gradually over time.

Over 200 years ago, Sir Charles Bell described this condition, which remains the most frequent cause of acute, one-sided facial paralysis.

The facial nerve (cranial nerve VII) originates from the brainstem (pons) and controls facial expressions, forehead movement, and closure of the eyelids. It also supports tear and saliva secretion and influences sound sensitivity. When this nerve is affected by inflammation, compression, or trauma, facial muscle weakness can occur.

Bell’s palsy can affect men and women equally, at any age, and may involve either side of the face. Around 1 in 65 people experience it at least once in their lifetime, making it the most common single-nerve (mononeuropathy) cause of acute facial paralysis.

At Homoeopathic Consultants, Karachi, Dr Arham provides clinical evaluation and individualized homoeopathic care. Our clinic has treated more than 500 patients with Bell’s palsy successfully.
